Simplicity Parenting
by Kim John Payne

This is one of the best books I have read on parenting. It is deep and touching, but totally practical at the same time. I use its concepts every day.

The book teaches the power of simplicity and rhythm to reduce anxiety and bad behavior, and improve security, connection, executive function, and creativity in children (and whole households!)

His experience as a counselor and knowledge of the science of development is obvious. Many of the themes echo and deepen the insights in Brain Rules for Baby which I review in this post.
